Disability Support Services For Higher Education If you've been recently diagnosed as having a disability, you are eligible for assistance for disabilities to help you pursue further education. These services are designed to limit the negative impact that the disability you suffer has on your academic progress, and to provide support that can help you be competitive with other students. For eligibility, you have to be able to prove your disability with documentation. After registration and approved, the Disability/Access Office will conduct a need assessment of your needs in order to identify the assistance that you require to lessen the effect of your disability on your studies.
